Today we let go of our baby praying mantises. We put them in our greenhouse in the carrots and lettuce plant bed. Then, we put them with the broccoli and peas outside in the garden.
Praying mantises are very voracious eaters. This means that they have big appetites and they can devour numerous types of insects as their prey. In gardens, praying mantises can feed on flies, mosquitoes, moths, and even roaches. They also control the growth of their own population and prevent any harm that they can cause on the crops as well as to the plants at home.
